2010 In Retrospect

BOLO 2010 brought together 160 agency professionals, suppliers, speakers and others in the marketing and advertising industry for two and a half days of education, collaboration, networking and the occasional cocktail. Attendees came from across the US (and as far away as New Zealand!) for the third annual agencyside conference. Exceptional and insightful keynotes were delivered by Ze Frank, Shar Van Boskirk (Forrester Research), Tim Ash (Site Tuners) and Jay Baer (Convince and Convert). Through dozens of breakouts, and hands-on workshops, we discussed everything from content strategy to data management to emerging media.

The 3P Track (for Principals, Presidents and Partners) was a successful addition to BOLO -- a half-day spent among peers with insightful presentations, and ample opportunity for questions, observations, and rich conversation.  We launched Vaudeville 2.0 and were delighted by 8 entertaining 5-minute/20-slide presentations on topics ranging from beer marketing to the antipodes! Held at the hip Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, we took time to have fun and get to know each other as well at cocktail receptions on the swanky Sky Line Rooftop and poolside. 

The agencyside team enjoyed every minute of getting to know some of our industry’s true thought-leaders and the innovative, talented agencies that attended.
